A National Presence
Broadcast 
Through broadcast and cable, Video Press programs have reached many millions in the United States and has been seen in over fifty countries world wide.  Video Press documentaries and programs can best be described as a celebration of the human spirit.

Non-broadcast
Video Press is a national distributor of health related programming to professionals and students in the fields of health care for the elderly. These programs are used by over 5,000 clients nationally including nursing homes, hospitals, universities, community colleges, professional training programs, hospice and Alzheimer’s associations.

Video Press also produces and nationally distributes programming on the worlds of individuals with special needs, disabilities and those challenged to overcome cultural and psychological barriers. This year Video Press resumes the distribution of these titles to professional training programs, school systems, disability awareness groups,  special education organizations, and support groups.

Clients
Whiteford-Hadary programs have been commissioned by Discovery, TLC and HBO, numerous federal agencies, national professional organizations, hospitals, and health and social services organizations. In addition, Video Press works closely with the University of Maryland School of Medicine and University Medical Center as well as with other health care organizations and long term care facilities. Dr. RabinsPeter V. Rabins, MD regarded by the medical profession as a national leader in the care of Alzheimer’s patients, has contributed to numerous Video Press productions for staff training in long-term care and assisted living and for use by Alzheimer’s support groups and by family caregivers. He is an on-going consultant to Video Press. Dr. Rabins is the author of “The 36 Hour Day” and numerous publications on Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Rabins is the Director of the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry in the Department of Pscychiatry at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Dr. WertheimerDebra Wertheimer, MD is a Clinical Asst. Professor at the University Maryland School of Medicine and the Associate Director of Clinical Services at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. Until recently she was the Medical Director of the Visiting Nurses Association of Maryland Medicare Certified Hospice Program; the Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Visiting Nurses Association of Maryland; the Medical Director, VNA of Maryland; and the Medical Director, Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care Program of Maryland.
Dr. Wertheimer is an on-going consultant to Video Press and contributes yearly to Video Press productions. Through her educational outreach she is dedicated to the training of those providing care to the elderly, particularly to nursing assistants.

Georgia L. Stevens, Ph.D., APRN, BC is currently the Aftercare Coordinator for the Maryland State Mental Hygiene Administration and Baltimore Mental Health Systems, Baltimore, MD. She has been on the faculty of the School of Nursing at The Catholic University of America and the University of Maryland. Dr. Stevens is the author of numerous publications on caregiver stress and preventing abuse in long-term care. She is a regular contributor to Video Press programs and is an on-going content consultant.

Barbara Resnick, Ph.D., CRNP, FAAN, FAANP is a Professor of Nursing at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and an Adjunct Professor, Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her research focuses on motivation of older adults particularly with regards to performance of functional activities. She has authored over 100 manuscripts and recently published a book on restorative care nursing. Dr. Resnick is a frequent contributor to Video Press Programs.
