The film takes you into the secret world of growing up -- thinking your mom is the greatest person in the world one year and knowing she'll never understand the next year.  Follow Bong who never lets his wheelchair slow him down and his best friend Donnell through their lives from 3rd grade to high school graduation and a special trip to Good Morning America.

Excellent for young people ages 8 through teenagers and support groups focusing on disability awareness, special education, physical therapy and/or ocupational therapy.

Bong and Donnell was selected by The Academy for inclusion in its 1995-96 Contemporary Documentary Series. After being released as a film, this wonderful program was acquired by HBO and received a CableAce Award and two national Emmy nominations.
